Ottawa – The study, published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, observed 4,288 accidental drownings in Canada from 2007 to 2016 and found that one in three people in this bracket had a pre-existing medical condition. Therefore, they drowned due to their condition. the study says those who have seizures, cardiovascular disease or a neurocognitive disorder can be at high risk if they go for swimming or boating.
