Ontario party leaders campaigned over long weekend

THUNDER BAY – Ontario’s party leaders continued campaigned over Victoria Day long weekend. Progressive Conservative Leader Doug Ford stopped in cottage country, before going door-knocking in Vaughan-Woodbridge, where PC candidate Michael Tibollo beat Del Duca in the last election. Liberal leader Steven Del Duca was in Thunder Bay, Ont., where he visited local businesses before meeting with the chief of Fort William First Nation. He then travelled to Sudbury, where he spoke about the opioid crisis. NDP Leader Andrea Horwath was in Toronto and Green Leader Mike Schreiner held a virtual panel about local farms and grocery prices.
