Australia – University of South Australia’s scientists have revealed that vitamin D deficiency can cause premature death. Many studies showed harms of low vitamin D levels. Nearly 40% of adults in the US are deficient. The figures could be even worse for countries that are not developed and health-focused.
Older adults who don’t sleep enough can develop life-threatening diseases
London – Researchers from University College of London, in a new research have said that less than five hours of sleep could lead to premature death of older adults. If they do not sleep enough, they are 40% likely to develop life-threatening diseases. The illnesses include cancer, heart problems, and diabetes.
