A military parade organized on the occasion of the Victory Day in the Second World War was held in Moscow today, in which more than 11,500 soldiers of the Ministry of Defense of Russia and other security structures – FSB, MCHS of Russia and the Russian Guard, as well as machines of other countries – participating in the war, participated.
Spectators during the Victory Day parade had the opportunity to see more than 130 units of military equipment, Iskander missile systems, air defense systems, as well as the latest technology.

First, infantry parade vehicles, as well as cadets from military schools, passed by the tribunes where the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and 29 world leaders were present.
There are also female soldiers in the parade, most of whom are heiresses of renowned officer families.

From foreign machines, units from China, Azerbaijan, Vietnam, Egypt, Myanmar, Mongolia, Laos, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Belarus participated in the parade.

After the infantry part of the parade, an echelon of technical equipment paraded through Red Square, and on this occasion T-34 tanks and SU-100 self-propelled artillery devices, T-90m “proriv” tanks, T-80BVM, 12 tanks, combat vehicles, combat reconnaissance vehicles, special armored vehicles, armored medical vehicles, vehicles for special purposes, intended for fire support, transport of military units and material resources in zones of combat operations and special operations.

Cossacks represented by the parade unit of the Cuban Cossack regiment, military scouts, deminers, pilots, sailors, cadets of military schools and academies from all over Russia, the regiment of the Russian Aerospace Forces, as well as military engineering academies and other military academies also took part in the parade.

Russia, according to reports, displayed the drones it uses against Ukraine for the first time at the Victory Parade.

State Russian television states that this is happening for the first time. Kanal One announced that among the displayed drones were the “lancet” and “geran-2”.

The ZALA “lancet” drone is used for both strike and reconnaissance missions. He allegedly destroyed Ukrainian tanks and a military plane.
“Geran-2” is a Russian suicide or kamikaze drone, whose design originates from Iran.

During the parade, the musicians of the military orchestra performed more than 40 pieces of music, while the drummers determined the tempo and rhythm of the movement of the parade vehicles.

The parade ended with an airplane flyover.
