Weekly Horoscope: June 29-July 5

The summer heat is sizzling!

Astrology not only predicts the kinds of energies we are likely to experience, but also guides us to take action at certain times — so this week, we’re celebrating a new beginning or breakthrough that we have desired for a long time.

Keep in mind that life may feel slowed down as we approach yet another Mercury retrograde that will take place throughout most of July and August; however, it’s important to understand that these astrological events — often synonymous with a negative effect — aren’t inherently bad.

Rather, retrogrades should be viewed from the perspective that their energy is encouraging us to reflect, reconnect and review parts of our own lives. This upcoming Mercury retrograde phase takes place entirely in Leo.

This means we could be reflecting on our love lives or that special someone beginning now through August’s end. Don’t be surprised if exes, old flames or hookups from the past come to mind or cross your path — this is the week to start trying to stir the pot!

As for cosmic weather this week, note that power struggles around ideas may arise on June 29, while July 4 could bring big ups, downs or spontaneity to relationships. This could be exhilarating or rather drama-filled, so handle with care.

Aries (March 20-April 19)

In recent weeks, Aries, you’ve had a lot to juggle. You’re a person on a mission right now, and you’re eager to make as much progress as possible.

All of your attention may be placed on tackling work projects, or rather, actively seeking a new position. If you’re noticing tension on the job or with coworkers, you may have to proceed carefully.

You could also be focused on health matters, like conquering the gym, losing weight or aiming to improve your body’s strength.

Taurus (April 19-May 20)

You have a passionate streak within you, Taurus, and this is coming out in full force lately! Luckily, this energy continues for weeks ahead.

There is a fire in your heart at this time and it’s likely manifesting in regard to a greater focus on romance and dating. It could also be set on passion projects, sports or situations involving children.

This is one of the best periods in a two-year cycle for singles to line up many new suitors, whether that’s sexy flings or someone who truly ignites your heart (and could be a true love match!). This is a wonderful time to let your hair down, have fun and chase the magic in every moment.

Gemini (May 20-June 20)

You are certainly feeling fired up emotionally at this time, Gemini, and it could require a bit more of a balance. If you’re feeling triggered or a bit more sensitive, try and find the cause.

Furthermore, there’s either a great deal of activity — or tension — in relation to situations surrounding home, family, domesticity or real estate. For instance, you may be vastly focused on moving, redecorating or a renovation.

The best thing to do? Try to ground yourself amid the commotion.

Cancer (June 20-July 22)

Life is very vibrant now, Cancer, and you’re eager for more adventure and excitement! Now and in the weeks ahead, you could find that you’re traveling more.

You’re also likely noticing a more social vibe with your friends, siblings or neighbors and getting riled up for summer fun! Some may also be very focused on intellectual pursuits, communication-related projects or a contract.

If you want to launch a proposal or endeavor, like a podcast or blog, now would be a great time to do so.

Leo (July 22-Aug. 22)

You love a lavish lifestyle, Leo, and presently there’s a great focus on finances. It appears now and in the weeks ahead, there’s a lot of money coming in and out.

Note that you may need to be cautious, as it may be like burning a hole in your bank account. This could be in relation to very large purchases or a deep need to pay off debts.

Fortunately, if you look for ways to monetize more, you could really amplify your income or see it increase during this time. Put yourself out there or look for new ways to monetize!

Virgo (Aug. 22-Sept. 22)

You’re on a mission and not letting anything stop you, Virgo! There’s a fire inside of you at this time and you’re ready to crush everything and anything in your way.

This can help you make significant progress toward any personal or professional goals you have in mind, a crucial moment to make a long list of your priorities and check every single one off. Any plans or initiatives you launch now have extra momentum behind them.

Others could be feeling more aggressive, impulsive and frustrated at this time, which may be due to not having the right opportunities or openings to achieve their desires.

Libra (Sept. 22-Oct. 22)

There is a very strange energy afoot in recent weeks, and in truth, you’ll be feeling it into August, Libra. Perhaps, you’re craving more solitude.

Maybe you’re working on developing big projects behind the scenes. If you adjust, fine-tune and plan ahead, you could make tremendous progress on them!

However, some of you may be feeling a bit more anxious and stir-crazy, or handling mental health or secret conflicts behind the curtain. This isn’t a time to launch plans or an attack — rather, it’s a time to focus on your past before you embark on new journeys later this summer.

Scorpio (Oct. 22-Nov. 21)

You’re fired up for fun, games and adventure now, Scorpio! In fact, your social life is likely popping off now and in the weeks ahead.

There could be a million exciting events on your calendar or instead, you may be actively engaged with communities and growing your social network. On a separate note, you may be hard at work hustling away to snatch a major prized goal or aspiration, one that could bring great applause to you.

Lastly, when it comes to your social network, some of you may become engaged in a passionate sexual relationship with a friend, and if you’re on the same page, it could work. Perhaps, you may find you’re experiencing tension with someone who is getting on your nerves instead.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22–Dec. 21)

There’s a time and place for everything, Sagittarius, and you are often able to juggle it all. Currently, it appears you’re hard at work hustling on major career projects or plans.

On one hand, you could make tremendous progress climbing the ladder now or launch endeavors to see your name in lights. However, if you’re not in the right lane or sensing a period of stagnation, you could feel frustrated, angry and at your wits’ end.

The key now is to harness all of this energy to be strategic in relation to your goals. If there is tension with an authority figure or competitor, it may not be wise to fight back, at least openly. Again, be calculating!

Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19)

While you don’t tend to be one of the most adventurous zodiac signs, Capricorn, when you catch the vibe, you’re all in. Now and in the weeks surrounding this one, you may have a deeper need for change, new horizons and to shake up the routine.

If you are able to embark on travel or immerse yourself with unique people, experiences or ideas, you could feel tremendously happy that you did. This could be as simple as learning new skills or expanding your certifications.

On a separate note, some of you may be very focused on a legal situation, publishing or media endeavors or an academic matter.

Aquarius (Jan. 19-Feb. 18)

Now and in the weeks ahead, you could make tremendous progress around large financial matters, Aquarius, or end up regretting some of the ways you’ve handled your money.

You could be gunning for more, racing to win a settlement, inheritance, bonus or pay off a debt — or instead, you could be taking on more. This is a tricky energy to navigate, so you must be especially careful.

Those in a relationship may have more of a focus on their intimate life or be debating if their needs are being met by the union. Singles won’t necessarily have more luck, but you may be feeling more moody and pent up because of this.

Pisces (Feb. 18-March 20)

As the heavens dance, Pisces, they’re highlighting your significant partnerships. Right now, it’s not the time to fly solo. If you do so, you could find more resistance to your goals.

If you decide to work with someone on a goal, personally or professionally, you could go much further! For instance, this is an excellent time to find an agent, trainer, accountant or business associate.

On a personal level, you and a significant lover could be actively working to achieve a milestone. If an enemy or competitor emerges during this time to block your path, try to outsmart and maneuver around them without them ever knowing.
