Brampton – The City of Brampton’s Youth Hub is now open at the Susan Fennell Sportsplex. The Youth Hub at the Susan Fennell Sportsplex offers a safe and inclusive space for young people to access programming and supports, all while building meaningful friendships and connections.
The dedicated space includes a variety of unstructured spaces to allow youth to freely socialize and connect. Other amenities include an eSports area, sponsored by Sheridan College, a creative space, ideation rooms, and a lounge area.
This space will add to the growing amenities available for young people within the City of Brampton, creating safe, inclusive and supportive communities. This Youth Hub at the Susan Fennell Sportsplex is a true collaborative effort, with investments made by federal, provincial and regional partners.
To make sure the Youth Hub was created to serve the needs of youth, the City of Brampton launched an extensive consultation with youth and youth service providers to obtain input on how to design and program these spaces.

The City’s second youth hub located at Century Gardens Recreation Centre is currently in design with construction anticipated to begin this summer. “The Youth Hub will serve as a safe space where young people can make new friends, find a new hobby and unwind. This is one way we’re creating a caring community that supports residents at every stage of life. We thank all the partners in making this innovative space a reality and look forward to all that will be accomplished here, the connections that will be made and the incredibly bright futures of all the youth in our phenomenal City.” – Patrick Brown, Mayor of Brampton
