Brampton – In 2017, Brampton City Council endorsed the Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The Parks and Recreation Master Plan is a guiding document for the delivery of parks, open space, recreation and sport facilities over a 15 year period with the underlying objective of promoting an active and engaged community where attention to personal and public health is paramount.
The completion of the Plan marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another, and staff have been working diligently over the past five years to begin implementing the Plan’s 100+ recommendations. In 2023, the City will be undertaking a five year review and update of the 2017 Council-endorsed Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
