Washington – The US federal government will be announcing the first-ever price negotiations for 10 drugs in Medicare in three months. But pharmaceutical companies are not happy about it and they are trying to prevent it. Merck and the US Chamber of Commerce have already filed separate lawsuits against the government, saying negotiating drug prices in Medicare is unconstitutional in some respects.
