LA – The Turner Classic Movies community faced problems as Warner Bros. Discovery, the network’s parent company, terminated the employment of several long-standing staff, associated with TCM for long time. So renowned filmmakers Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, and Paul Thomas Anderson personally reached out to Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav to advocate for TCM, media reported. Later Spielberg, Scorsese, and Anderson in a joint statement said their lobbying efforts had been successful as the main goal is to protect TCM and ensure its continuation.
