BRAMPTON – The City of Brampton has been ranked as a Top Green Fleet in the prestigious 2023 Green Fleet Awards competition, by the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA) Fleet Management Association. This is the first time the City has received this award, and it is the only Canadian City to make the list. The Green Fleet Awards recognize organizations that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship in fleet management. The City of Brampton’s commitment to create a more sustainable fleet is part of an ongoing efforts to achieve shared net-zero emissions goals by 2050 and has resulted in a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and improved air quality. Brampton remains committed to exploring and adopting innovative solutions that further enhance its environmental performance, promote a cleaner and healthier environment, and contribute to the global fight against climate change.
