Ottawa – Mary Ng, Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development, will participate in the second G7 Trade Ministers’ Meeting on October 28-29, 2023, in, Japan. This meeting, under Japan’s G7 presidency, will provide an opportunity for Canada to further its international trade priorities, including:
- advancing World Trade Organization reform
- addressing issues of economic security, including economic coercion
- promoting resilient and sustainable supply chains
- fostering inclusive global prosperity
Minister Ng will also meet with international partners to discuss collaboration on trade and investment.
