BRAMPTON, ON (November 23, 2023) – It’s that time of year! The City of Brampton is excited to kick off its annual Winter Wonderland, with plenty of outdoor fun across the city sponsored by the Spirit of Math. Bundle up, gather your friends and family and enjoy family-friendly activities all winter long.
Outdoor Rinks and Skating Trails
The City marks the start of Winter Wonderland with the opening of Gore Meadows Covered Outdoor Rink. All other outdoor rinks and skating trails will begin to open for the season starting Friday, November 24, weather permitting. The City is excited to open two new outdoor skating locations this season, Boreham Park and Peel Village Park. In addition to free public skating, Gore Meadows Covered outdoor skating rink is offering a variety of registered skating programs. Advance registration is required. The following rinks also offer dedicated times for hockey shinny:
- Boreham Park
- Duggan Park
- Flower City Community Campus
- Gore Meadows Covered Outdoor Rink
- Peel Village Park
Rinks may temporarily close due to weather or maintenance requirements, residents are encouraged to check rink hours and status updates at www.brampton.ca/outdoorskating prior to visiting.
