About PIXEL Digital Art Exhibition
Since 2021, Brampton Arts Organization’s PIXEL: Digital Art Exhibition has exhibited over 80 Brampton artists’ works on the 24’ LED screen in Garden Square (12 Main Street North) in Downtown Brampton from June to December each year. PIXEL invites artists to submit works across a variety of chosen themes and ideas. From music videos to animation and photographs, from painting to visual works,  all genres and mediums are celebrated. From the big screen,  artworks are now captured on a series of postcards distributed at events across the GTA, further promoting the artists and their practices. A range of themes, like Summer of Love and Brampton Reverb, have been explored. The program has, furthermore, provided specific support to Black and Indigenous artists.
