Team Brampton returns to the global tech conference; showcases Innovation District to thousands of international participants
BRAMPTON – The City of Brampton is returning to the highly anticipated Collision Conference, a global tech event attracting over 36,000 participants from more than 118 countries. New this year, Brampton is hosting The Gathering, an exclusive pre-conference event in the heart of Brampton’s vibrant Innovation District. This marks the first time the event is being held in North America.
Collision is the fastest-growing tech conference in North America. It brings eminent speakers and leading tech companies together for learning and networking opportunities in the startup sector. This year, Brampton will showcase the success of its Innovation District and demonstrate its suite of services available to help startups thrive.
Brampton’s Economic Development team, including the Brampton Entrepreneur Centre and its partners, BHive Brampton, Altitude Accelerator, Founder Institute, Algoma University, Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst, and Brampton Venture Zone, are expected to welcome approximately 200 startups to Brampton’s Innovation District through hosting this event.
The City of Brampton remains focused on its economic development efforts in key sectors, including innovation and technology, advanced manufacturing, food and beverage processing, and health and life sciences.
