Ottawa – François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, was in New York recently as part of Team Canada’s US engagement strategy. The Minister met with key business leaders, including the Vice Chairman of IBM, Gary Cohn, and BlackRock CEO, Larry Fink. While in New York, Minister Champagne also participated in a fireside chat at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) to discuss Canada–US collaboration to foster innovation and the responsible use of emerging technologies.
