Ottawa – In 1989, Major Dee Brasseur and Captain Jane Foster became the first women in the Royal Canadian Air Force. It takes a lot of courage to qualify as CF-18 fighter pilots. Veterans Affairs Canada says it is proud to salute these trailblazing service members!
