Brampton – Recently Mayor Patrick Brown and British Consul General Fouzia Younis hosted ‘An Evening to Celebrate Cricket’ reception to celebrate the GT20 Tournament and marked the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between The Lord’s Taverners and the City of Brampton. The Lord’s Taverners, the UK’s leading youth cricket and disability sport charity, will donate cricket equipment to the City of Brampton to further efforts towards youth cricket in Brampton. Canadian-Jamaican cricketer of the Brampton Wolves, Aaron Johnson, attended the photo op in his team uniform.
