BRAMPTON – Last night, a star-studded lineup took to the ice at the CAA Centre for the third annual Hockey Night in Brampton. Team Mitch Marner, coached by NHL legend Doug Gilmour, faced off against Team Max Domi, coached by NHL legend Wendel Clark, in an exhilarating charity game with proceeds benefitting the William Osler Health System. This year’s event once again supports the ongoing efforts to enhance health care services in Brampton, including the building of Brampton’s second hospital. The event raised an incredible $14M for the William Osler Health System Foundation, further solidifying Hockey Night in Brampton as not just a local favourite, but the largest charity hockey game in the history of Canada!
This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the overwhelming support and generosity of our community. We received substantial contributions from key donors, whose commitment to supporting healthcare in our region is truly commendable, which was lead by a very generous $12M donation from The Carangel Corporation (Greenpark Group). Additional valued community donors’ contributions included:
  • ARGO Development Corp., Fieldgate Developments, Paradise Developments, TACC Developments – $1,000,000
  • Primont Homes – $250,000
  • National Brixen Inc. – $100,000
  • Sutharsan & Family Holdings Inc. – $83,000
  • Endless Giving Gala by Jessi Sandhu – $75,000
  • Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association – $25,000
The City thanks the talented coaches and players who came out and played an action packed and entertaining game. The evening would not have been possible without them.
