New York – Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau showed concern on situation in Haiti. He said: “Gang violence, severe hunger, instability, is dire in Haiti. At the UN, I outlined how Canada is uniting the international community around the goal of safety and security for the Haitian people: Supporting the work of Prime Minister Conille Garry ’s interim government to bring Haiti back to a more democratic and prosperous path. Delivering immediate food, medicine, and humanitarian aid alongside the Red Cross. And combating organized crime – keeping young people from being drawn into its networks.“
