South Korea – Mary Ng, Minister of Export, Trade and Economic Development, said the Canada-Korea FTA is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year with tangible results for both our economies. She said: “Bilateral trade is up 82.5% since 2014, greater duty free access is achieved with over 99% in tariff reductions and Canada is Korea’s second largest destination for investment, after the USA. Minister Cheong and I co-chaired the 4th Canada-Korea FTA Joint Commission to discuss how we can continue to build on our strong strategic partnership, create jobs and investments that will benefit our worker and businesses.”
