Washington – Minister of Economic Development, International Trade and Export Promotion, Mary Ng is in Washington for a meeting with US Trade Representative Katherine Tai. Her office said Ng will discuss electric vehicles and softwood lumber among other topics. Ng plans to discuss a range of issues with Tai, including “economic security, secure and resilient supply chains and the electric vehicle sector” as well as the dispute over US duties on softwood lumber and other trade priorities.
