Ottawa – Mary Ng, Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development, will participate in the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) Commission meeting in Auckland, New Zealand on July 16. She will also take part in a joint press conference at the end of the meeting. While in Auckland, Minister Ng will reinforce Canada’s support for the United Kingdom joining the trade agreement and will work with her CPTPP ministerial counterparts to advance shared trade priorities. A question and answer period will follow opening remarks.
