Accessible Recreation Week in Brampton runs from May 26-June 1

Brampton – ​In recognition of National AccessAbility Week, the City of Brampton is hosting free activities and sports for everyone to take part in through Accessible Recreation Week in Brampton. Generously sponsored by 407 ETR, this initiative is an opportunity to celebrate adapted sports and residents of all ages, abilities and genders are welcome to participate.

Beginning May 26 through June 1, Accessible Recreation Week in Brampton will showcase para-sports, athletes, clubs and organizations, inviting residents to participate in a variety of engaging activities. Throughout the week, Brampton recreation centres will host ‘try-it’ sports programs, demonstrations and drop-in special events, inviting individuals to explore and participate in adapted sports.

To register for the upcoming drop-in programs and events, visit Brampton.ca/recreation.​ Registration is not required for the try-it sports programs.
