Brampton invests record $1.75m in 159 NGOs, charities through 2025 Advance Brampton Fund

BRAMPTON – The City of Brampton is announcing 159 non-profit and charitable organizations receiving funding through the 2025 Advance Brampton Fund (ABF). This year, the City is granting $1.75 million to support a diverse range of community initiatives, marking the largest allocation in the program’s history.

Brampton’s non-profit sector plays a vital role in providing programs and services that address community needs. Through the 2025 Advance Brampton Fund, the City is dedicated to supporting this sector across three key areas:

  • Arts and culture: Initiatives that promote cultural expression and increase resident participation in arts and culture.
  • Community safety: Programs that foster safer communities and support inclusion and a sense of belonging.
  • Recreation: Recreational programs that promote physical, mental and emotional well-being.

About the Advance Brampton Fund

The Advance Brampton Fund is a community granting program that supports non-profit sector development and provides municipal funding to eligible Brampton-based non-profit or charitable organizations for strong project proposals that align with strategic priorities.  Since its inception in 2020, the Advance Brampton Fund has approved more than $6.1 million in funding for 559 projects that enhance the quality of life for Brampton residents by supporting innovative, community-focused programs.
