BRAMPTON – During the upcoming holiday season City Hall will be closed to the public from Friday, December 22, 2023, at 12 pm reopening to the public on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 8:30 am. All critical services, including Fire and Emergency Services, Traffic Services, By-Law Enforcement, Road Operations, and Security Services will continue to operate as usual to support the community.

Brampton Transit
Brampton Transit will be running on a Holiday Service schedule from Monday, December 25, 2023, to Sunday, January 7, 2024. Reduced weekday service will be in effect with School Special Service, Secondary School extra trips and route 199 UTM Express cancelled. Route 501C frequency will be adjusted to 15 minutes during AM and PM peak periods travelling eastbound to York University and 30 minutes travelling westbound to Bramalea Terminal. Regular service resumes on Monday, January 8, 2024.

Brampton Transit’s Clark and Sandalwood Facilities, including Lost and Found, will be closed from December 22, 2023, at noon until January 1, 2024. The Transit Service Centres and Contact Centre will be closed on Monday, December 25, 2023, and Monday, January 1, 2024. Ride free on Brampton Transit this New Year’s Eve after 7pm with extended service offered.

Food & Toy Drive
Until December 17, donate non-perishable food items and new, unwrapped toys at various locations in Brampton, including City Hall, Recreation Centres and participating libraries. Winter Program Registration
Registration for Brampton Recreation’s winter programs, including holiday and march break camps, is open for residents of Brampton. Programs are available to view online at www.brampton.ca/registerforprograms. Registration for the winter Learn to Swim and Learn to Skate programs begins at 6 am on Monday, December 18.
Winter registered programs begin the week of January 8, 2024.
Free Indoor Skates

New Year’s Eve in Downtown Brampton
The countdown is on to 2024 and there is no better place to celebrate than Downtown Brampton!
