Toronto – The City of Toronto is accepting applications from restaurants interested in participating in the popular Winterlicious 2024 program, which is returning Friday, January 26 to Thursday, February 8. Submissions are open for two weeks this year from Thursday, August 10 at 9 a.m. until Thursday, August 24 at 11:59 p.m. The 2024 will mark the 20-year anniversary of the Winterlicious and Summerlicious programs, which started with 36 participants and have grown to include more than 200 restaurants. Ninety-seven per cent of participating restaurants surveyed during Winterlicious 2023 consider the Winterlicious and Summerlicious programs a worthwhile City effort that supports the local restaurant industry. Participation in Winterlicious 2024 involves two steps:
1 – Restaurants complete an online application to determine eligibility and a price point category which remains valid for a two-year period.
2 – Eligible restaurants then register prior to each Winterlicious or Summerlicious campaign to confirm their participation.
