BRAMPTON– The City of Brampton will be celebrating Seniors Month this June, a time dedicated to celebrating and honouring the valuable contributions and achievements of our elder residents. Throughout the month, the City will host free drop-in programs, special events and activities to recognize and appreciate local seniors.
Brampton is proud to be home to more than 245,000 residents 55 years old and older. Seniors Month provides an opportunity to show gratitude and support for their continued involvement and engagement. Seniors play an integral role in the community, contributing their wisdom, experience and talents to creating a vibrant city everyone can enjoy.

Celebrating Brampton’s 50th with free 70+ Annual Recreation Memberships
In celebration of Brampton’s 50th birthday since incorporating in 1974, the City is giving eligible seniors 70 and older a free Annual Recreation Membership beginning June 1, 2024.
Residents can visit any City of Brampton recreation centre to verify their eligibility.

Join us for Brampton’s Springfest Lunch and Expo
The event offers an expo to learn about programs and services available to seniors in Brampton. Participants will be able to enjoy a buffet-style lunch, music, singing, dancing and entertainment provided by a live DJ.
Registration is required to attend the lunch and dance portion of the event and a Flower City membership is not required to register. Registration for residents is $17.03 plus HST, and $22.14 plus HST for non-residents. Registration can be completed in-person at any City of Brampton recreation centre, by calling 3-1-1 or online with a City of Brampton Recreation registration account.
