Changes to Brampton Transit service effective June 26

Brampton – Effective Monday, June 26, 2023, Brampton Transit will implement service changes to ensure its transit system continues to move people around the city safely and effectively.
Service Changes
501C Züm Queen 
· Weekday service frequency adjusted:
o AM peak to operate every 15 minutes
o Midday to operate every 30 minutes
o PM peak to operate every 15 minutes
561 Züm Queen West 
· Weekday schedules adjusted to improve service reliability
1 Queen 
· Saturday schedules adjusted to improve service reliability
5 Bovaird
· Weekday, Saturday & Sunday schedules adjusted to improve service reliability
9 Vodden 
· Weekday schedules adjusted to improve service reliability
11 Steeles
· Saturday schedules adjusted to improve service reliability
17 Howden 
· Weekday schedules adjusted to improve service reliability
19 Fernforest 
· Weekday schedules adjusted to improve service reliability
23 Sandalwood 
· Sunday service frequency adjusted:
o Early AM (start of service to 10:00am) to operate every 30 minutes
o Midday service (10:00am to end of service) to operate every 28 minutes
60 Mississauga Road
· Weekday midday Service adjusted to operate every 35 minutes
200 Secondary School Specials
· Routes 200, 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, 208, 209, 211, 212, 213, 214, 215, 216 and 217 are cancelled
· Routes to resume service on Tuesday, September 5, 2023
Summer School Extra Service
Effective June 26-July 31, 2023, the following summer school locations have extra trips scheduled for the PM dismissal times on the following routes:
· Castlebrooke Secondary School – 36 Gardenbrooke and 50 Gore Road
· Fletcher’s Meadow Secondary School – 4/4A Chinguacousy
· North Park Secondary School – 17 Howden and 29 Williams Parkway
· Holy Name of Mary Catholic Secondary School – 9 Vodden and 12 Grenoble
· St. Marguerite D’Youville Catholic Secondary School – 18 Dixie, 32 Father Tobin and 33 Peter Robertson
· St. Roch Catholic Secondary School – 6 James Potter and 29 Williams Parkway
