Ontario – The Ontario government is investing more than $4.5 million to help police services provide specialized support to people who are experiencing a mental health or addictions crisis. The Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) Enhancement Grant enables police to work with trained crisis workers when responding to those in need.
