💔 Tragic losses of lives occur due to prolonged waits for life-saving surgeries.
The Gift Of Disability Alleviation (GODA), established in 2016, consists of a group of dedicated surgeons and rehab specialists inspired by the impactful work of Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN). They make it their mission every year to travel to Pakistan for one week and perform over 100 surgeries, free-of-cost. GODA’s upcoming visit to Pakistan in February 2024 is a long-awaited blessing for many with disabilities and will help ease the current backlog, which can be years out. Their goal this year is to complete over 150 surgeries!
While these doctors generously volunteer their time for free, they cannot do it alone. Financial support is crucial for acquiring medical supplies, hip and knee implants, surgical tools, and more. Today, you can be the source of unexpected happiness for someone—the reason behind delivering the news of transformative surgery to people with disabilities.
