Washington – Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), a neurodevelopmental disorder affects people of all ages. Individuals face difficulties in maintaining attention, suffer from impulsive behaviour, and hyperactivity. Doctors can choose from many types of drugs to control symptoms of the disorder. Medications may not work for all ADHD patients or have same effect on everyone. A combination of medication, therapy, behavior changes, and skills training is often the most effective treatment. This is called multimodal treatment.
