London – Everyone wishes to lose weight but medication for weight loss is less and people need to get involved in strenuous exercise regimens and extreme diets to shed extra kilos. Now the results of two clinical trials, presented during American Diabetes Association Scientific Sessions, show pharmaceutical industry has come far in developing a pill-based weight loss medication. Popular medications, such as Mounjaro by Eli Lilly and Ozempic and Wegovy by Novo Nordisk, result in significant weight loss, and are being administered via weekly injections.
