State Minister for Interior, Talal Chaudhry, responded to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s threat by stating that Gandapur should answer for the last 13 years of the KP government.
During a press conference in Islamabad, Ali Amin Gandapur once again threatened the federal government, saying that if the agreed-upon issues in the NFC (National Finance Commission) are not met this month, he would take the people of KPK, including the police and government officers, to the streets.
In response, Talal Chaudhry said, “The federal government has given Khyber Pakhtunkhwa more than its due share in the NFC. Gandapur should answer for the last 13 years of the KPK government. PTI members have rightly accused their own people of embezzling billions of rupees.”
Regarding PTI’s talks of negotiations, Talal Chaudhry stated that PTI is talking to themselves, and no one is talking to them. “Once a disobedient child is disowned, relations can never be restored,” he added. He also mentioned that talks would take place in the same parliament from which PTI had walked out.
He further added that the founder of PTI doesn’t want to meet many people, but he can meet those he wants at 7 a.m. or 7 p.m. He also emphasized that Pakistan’s policy towards Afghanistan will be decided by Pakistan, not PTI.
