BRAMPTON – The City of Brampton welcomes three additional hockey icons to its all-star Hockey Night in Brampton 2023 lineup. Mark Giordano, Sean Monahan and Jeremy Roenick will join coaches Wendel Clark and Doug Gilmour as two teams go head-to-head in support of William Osler Health System Foundation.
Now in its second year, proceeds from Hockey Night in Brampton ticket sales will benefit William Osler Health System in building Brampton’s new Peel Memorial Hospital. This system plays a critical role in supporting the health and wellbeing of the overall community, yet it continues to experience a surge in patient volume. The City of Brampton is working to support the community and the need for the new Peel Memorial Hospital through events like Hockey Night in Brampton to ensure specialized treatment is available close to home.
Additional team announcements will be made in the coming weeks, as players are confirmed. The City thanks its title sponsor Panattoni Development Company Canada for its generous support of Hockey Night in Brampton.

Have your say – Peel Memorial Hospital Transformation Survey
Preliminary site work is underway on the new Peel Memorial Hospital – a significant project that will bring Peel’s nearly 100-year legacy into the future with the construction of a multi-storey patient tower with room to grow, new and expanded outpatient services, and Brampton’s second 24/7 Emergency Department.
The new Peel Memorial Hospital will bring a significant boost in services for patients, and will be larger than many other community hospitals in Ontario. Osler is going through the stages of clinical planning for the new hospital and all required approvals with the Ministry of Health and Infrastructure Ontario. Input from our community is always important during this process and we’re looking to hear from you on your new hospital’s look, feel and function.

“This year’s Hockey Night in Brampton is shaping up to be one for the books as we welcome current Maple Leafs’ star defenseman Mark Giordano and US hockey legend Jeremy Roenick to the evening’s lineup. We are also excited to welcome back for his second Hockey Night in Brampton event, Brampton native Montreal Canadiens’ star Sean Monahan who last year had a park named after him in Brampton and whose family still resides in Bramalea. We are inspired and grateful for their support of William Osler Health System and this important cause in our city. We’ve also reached a milestone in the planning of Bramptons second hospital as the community is now invited to help shape the hospital’s look, feel and function through William Osler’s survey. Whether taking part in the Hockey Night in Brampton event, donating directly to William Osler Health System, or providing feedback on the 2nd Brampton Hospital, I encourage everyone to get involved and help support this critical healthcare need in our community that will support generations to come.”  – Patrick Brown, Mayor of Brampton
