PARIS – Bianca Andreescu, 22-year-old from Mississauga, Ontario, won the second-round over American wild-card Emma Navarro, 6-1, 6-4. She has now advanced to the third round of the Roland Garros’s clay-court Grand Slam for the first time in her career. She won the 2019 US Open and rose to No. 4 in the WTA rankings. She paused afor a while after serious ankle injury she sustained at the Miami Open.
