Paris – Pakistan’s javelin star Arshad Nadeem won gold, rewrote 118-year history of Olympic Games at javelin throw final in Paris. He broke the medal drought for his country as last time Pakistan won medal at Olympics was in 1992, exactly 32 years ago. Athletes from 12 countries competed. Arshad threw 92.97m, setting new Olympic record, India’s Neeraj Chopra threw at 89.45m.
