National Youth Week recognizes youth and their positive contributions to the community, including volunteerism, sport, leadership and more.

Brampton youth are invited to join a series of free events hosted by the City, including Performing Arts Brampton’s Pass the Mic Night and a Parks Youth Community Clean Up and Scavenger Hunt.
Pass the Mic is an Open Mic night for youth Poets, Singers, Rappers and Comedians ages 13-19 on May 4 at Cyril Clark Brampton. For more information click here.
Youth can take part in the Parks Scavenger Hunt by submitting their pictures for a chance to win one of three prizes. Register here. Join the cleanup May 4 at Teramoto Park or Duncan Foster Valley. Participants will receive community hours. Click here for more information.
Other events include a pool party, job information fair, inclusion dance, an eSports tournament and a closing event featuring basketball and soccer tournaments with Peel Police, The Brampton Honey Badgers and City of Brampton’s Corporate Security team.
