Multan – British-born Catherine Dalto, 30, has joined Multan Sultans as a fast bowling coach to become Pakistan Super League’s first-ever female coach. She obtained Irish citizenship in 2015 and represented Ireland in four ODIs and four T20Is. Multan Sultans on X account referred to her as “an ECB-certified Level 3 Advanced Coach, has previously occupied coaching roles at the national fast-bowling academy in the United Kingdom and the Ultimate Pace Foundation in India.” She worked with Deepak Chahar, and served as assistant head coach at the National Fast-Bowling Academy based in the UK, working in partnership with Ian Pont and Andre Nel.
