Brampton – OKD club organised the 11th field hockey tournament in Brampton. Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown handed out medals to winners. The club is a non-profit sports organization, and registered with Field Hokey Canada and Ontario. The club facilitates youth focused camps ranging from the ages 6- 21, to help identify talented future Olympic level athletes, and to strengthen the level of the sport in Canada. The key components of the camps are to develop youngsters in mastering fundamental skills; experiencing lots of game competition; making friends; and to demonstrate personal/team progress and success.
