Fukuoka – Canada’s Summer McIntosh, 16 was able to retain her world title in the women’s 200-metre butterfly final at World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, Japan. She finished in two minutes, 4.06 seconds, and set a new world junior record. Australian Elizabeth Dekkers won silver in 2:05.46, and American Regan Smith got bronze in 2:06.58.
