The United States has imposed sanctions on 70 companies from Pakistan, China, and other countries. According to the US Department of the Treasury, 19 of these companies are from Pakistan, 42 from China, and 4 each from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Iran. The US claims these companies are working against its national security and foreign policy interests.
According to an official statement from the US Treasury Department, these companies are involved in technology, defense equipment, and other crucial sectors that pose a threat to US interests. Under these sanctions, the sanctioned companies will be excluded from the US commercial system, and no trade or business activities will be allowed with them.
The purpose of these sanctions is to protect US national security and prevent companies involved in developing US defense technology or those linked to terrorist activities from operating in US markets.
